Paid Inclusion

Paid Inclusion is simply submitting your website to pay and free "Web Directories," with HIGH Google PageRank. Two of the most popular web directories are Yahoo Directory and Open Directory (known as DMOZ). Yahoo is $300 a year, and Open Dmoz is FREE (but can be tough to get in to).

There are many kinds of web directories, prices, and methods of getting your website included. (Why its called Paid Inclusion)

• Free Submission - there is no charge for review of the site
• Reciprocal Link - the site submitted must link back to the directory in order to be listed
• Paid Submissions - a fee is charged for reviewing the submitted link
• No Follow - there is a rel="nofollow" attribute associated with the link, meaning search engines will not follow the link
• Featured Link - the link is given a premium position in the category where it is submitted
• Featured Home page Link - the link may be listed on the home page of the directory
• Bid for Position - a recent innovation (2007) where sites are ordered based on bids "include your website" in theirs.

Most directories charge a yearly fee usually, and depending on your business, most will help your sites PageRank, and get you needed visits. Price range is roughly $35 to $100 per year, and the average fee is $50 to $75.

I simply charge you for labor time. You pay the fees to the Directories, ad control futures payments.

More examples of Paid directories are, ExactSeeK, Msn, Jayde, the list goes on and one. Free Inclusion is available at TONS of free directories. Most are not worth the labor you pay me. Google/Dmoz is an exception.
